Sylv Dobie

sylvMrs Sylvia Dobie is the Town Clerk and Proper Financial Officer for Gillingham Town Council. She has held this post since 2004 and is now a CILCA (Clerk's Certificate in Local Government Administration) Qualified Clerk, this enabled the Town Council to apply for Quality Status and was achieved in 2010.

She has the overall responsibility for the day to day operations of Gillingham Town Council including the management of the Town Council's Finances.

Sylvia Dobie joined the council in 1989 as Assistant Town Clerk.
